Random Tip Tuesday: Best-Kept Jewelry Secret

Fun fact: I am full of random knowledge – some useful and some not so much. It’s true. Some people tell me they would have me as their “phone a friend” if they were ever on a game show, though I’m sure my stash of tips, tricks and facts wouldn’t be much help in a situation such as that. Don’t ask where I get it or why I know the things I do … I couldn’t tell you. Maybe it’s because I’m constantly doing things because I can’t sit still. Or because I see other places more than I see my own bedroom. Whatever the reason, it’s selfish of me to keep all of this take-it-or-leave-it knowledge locked up inside for only me to know. So, I’ve decided to share a new random tip with you each Tuesday. See there, I’m not selfish after all! Some of these things you may know, some you may not, and some may never come in handy. But hey – that’s the fun thing about random!

Random Tip #1: JoAnn Fabrics has great jewelry! I’m not talking spend-an-hour-making-it-youself-so-it-can-break-the-first-time-you-wear-it jewelry. I’m talking cute, unique, ready-to-wear jewelry. The best part? The prices are great, ranging from $3.99 to $19.99. The even better part? It’s almost always on sale. As in 20-75% off .. no joke. And if it’s not on sale, chances are JoAnn has a great coupon offer that you can take advantage of.

I’ve become slightly obsessed with their jewelry, being that not many other people know to search there for accessories and therefore, not everyone is wearing the same necklace as me. The quality is great, and I always get compliments on anything that I wear from there.

If you’re feeling a tiny bit creative, they have a lot of cute earrings sans the hooks that can easily be turned into wearable earrings by purchasing a pack of the hooks for less than $3 and putting them together yourself. It’s actually pretty fun, and it makes you feel like you actually made your own jewelry.

You can find some of it on their website, but I would suggest locating your nearest JoAnn and scoping out the jewelry section in person.

And there you have it. My first piece of random knowledge that you now share with me. Hope it was helpful to some! I’ll be back next Tuesday with another tidbit for you.

With that, I’ll leave you with a few pieces of jewelry that I’ve purchased from JoAnn.
