It’s that time again, y’all! So many fun Fall events coming up this month here in Jacksonville, so I wanted to share some of my top picks! You better believe you will find us at all of these. Let me know if you have any questions about anything or if you plan to join in any of the fun. Hope you enjoy!

Fall at AlleyCakes: This isn’t exactly an event, but I’m pretty pumped about it so I wanted to share. AlleyCakes is my favorite local bakery and dessert company, and my go-to for any celebration or event. Their Fall flavor menu is incredible, so of course I had to make you aware! The adorable bakery is in Neptune Beach. Be sure to check their website HERE for their new store hours. They’re open late now!

OCTOBER 7 (2-5 PM)
Yappy Hour Howl-o-Ween Bash at The Jacksonville Landing: It’s happy hour for you AND your pup! This is one of my favorite events ever, and it’s very near and dear to my heart. Wanna know why? I created Yappy Hour during my internship at The Landing back in March 2009 and it’s STILL going almost ten years later! It makes me so very happy. This month’s theme is the best: it’s basically a giant costume party for your pooch! Dress up your dog, head downtown, and enjoy some live music, good drinks, a pet costume contest, vendors and more. It’s the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Best of all, it’s FREE! Learn more HERE.

OCTOBER 12-14, 18-21 & 26-31 (6:30-10 PM)
Spooktacular at the Zoo: Another event I’ve never been to but I hear nothing but amazing things! Having a kid gives us an excuse to try so many new things, and now that we are annual pass holders we have no excuse! The Sppoktacular is safe and exciting for kids of all ages, and includes a pumpkin patch, a candy trail, special after-dark exhibits, music, scare zones and more. So fun! Tickets start at $8 for members and $10 for non-members. Learn more and get your tickets HERE.

OCTOBER 12 & 13
Oktoberfest Jacksonville
at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery: I’ve never been to this before but I am super excited to go this year! Actually, I’ve never been to the Auheuser- Busch Brewery at all … so I’m double excited! Oktoberfest is a two-day celebration featuring a variety of entertainment, food vendors providing German and traditional festival fare, live music and thirst-quenching beers.  Tickets start at just $15 and VIP tickets are available. I’d love for you to come join me on Friday, so I’m giving you a chance to win four General Admission tickets! Follow me on Instagram to enter to win! Grab your tickets HERE.

Customer Appreciation Week at LASH: Y’all know how much I love this place. This is the most beautiful salon in town, and where I go for my lashes and facials. If you’ve never visited the salon this is the time! Each day during the week they will have a special offer, treats, goodies, complimentary services and more. New and existing customers are welcome to join in the festivities, tour the studio and ask the experts anything you want to know! Follow LASH on Facebook and/or Instagram for specifics, or visit their site HERE. Remember to tell them I sent you, and use code BLONDE15 for 15% off your services!

Everbalance Body + Beauty Challenge: I’ve totally been slacking, but I’m getting back at it. This is my favorite fitness studio in town! (You can read more about Everbalance and my experience there here.) If you’re looking to get in kickass shape before the holidays, this is the perfect time to do it. They’re giving away amazing prizes, and more classes you take (yoga, barre, mat Pilates or Reformer Pilates) during Oct. 15 and Nov. 15, the more chances you have to win. The person who takes the most classes will receive over $1,000 in prizes! Your first class is free and they’re running a new member $99/month special. Tell them I sent you! Find out more about the studio and the challenge HERE.

Promenade at the Alcazar: To say I’m pumped about this is an understatement! Join the Lightner Museum in beautiful historic St. Augustine for a spectacular anniversary celebration as the museum celebrates its 70th anniversary and the former Alcazar Hotel celebrates its 130th anniversary. The event will go from 7 – 10 p.m., with VIP entrance beginning at 6 p.m.  I got a sneak peek inside the museum and what we can expect, and let me tell you, it’s going to be AMAZING. Guests will be greeted with champagne and music by The Raisin Cake Orchestra, museum galleries will be open throughout the event, wine and hors d oeuvres available for sampling throughout the museum, event music provided by Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra, a representative from NYC’s Museum Hack will be in the galleries interacting with guests, and so much more. OH! And guests will also be given a chance to win a Viking Cruise for two to a European Destination! The dance floor and orchestra will be where the hotel’s pool used to be (pictured below) – so cool! General admission tickets are $70 and VIP are $130. Get your tickets HERE before they sell out.

OCTOBER 31 (6-8 PM)
Halloween at the St. Johns Town Center: Another new one for us, but something I’m looking forward to now that we have a little one! She’s a bit too young to really go trick-or-treating, but this will be so fun for her to wear her costume and enjoy the holiday! The Town Center will have free and safe trick-or-treating, giveaways, characters, a complimentary photo booth and much more. The first 250 children to check-in will receive a reusable Halloween tote and candy map. Click HERE for more information.
