Day 10 Update: Tracy Anderson Method

So technically it’s been a little more than ten days since I began the Metamorphosis, but today is my actual ten-day mark. I went out of town with Jimmy for his work trip which threw me off a bit, but I tried my best to stay on track and picked right back up where I left off when I returned home. Today, I began Phase 2 of the plan and I’m feeling great!

The workouts are challenging but not impossible or discouraging. It’s been fun to see and feel the difference in my performance and endurance from when I first started Phase One to the last day of that workout. I can already feel more definition in my arms and legs, and I can definitely tell that I’m working every single muscle in my body – even the ones I never knew I had.

I hate to admit it, but I’ve struggled sticking to the meal plan. It takes a lot of time to prepare the meals and make them in advance, and with events, weddings and trips every weekend I just haven’t been able to do it. I’ve done as much of it as I can, though, and have cut out carbs, sugar, starch and junk foods (for the most part.) Most of my meals consist of a protein and a fruit or veggie, or green smoothies for breakfast. Now that I’m in Phase Two, I am going at it even harder and am going to be even more disciplined.

So here I am, ten days in. I’ve lost .25″ in my arms, 1″ in my waist, 1″ in my hips, for a total of 2.25″ all-over, and am down four pounds. Not too shabby for ten days, but I am determined to do even better in Phase Two because I want even better results when I next track my measurements!

Let Phase Two begin!

      Unfortunately I just haven’t had the time to sit and write my latest update (though I’ve been dying to) but it’s still going great!! The meal plan is definitely tough to stick to, but it has helped me make better decisions. I LOVE workout #2 – much better than workout 1. In my opinion, it’s hard to do the dance cardio everyday, so I like to switch it up with other cardio DVDs or jogs. I highly recommend the Method. Go for it!

    Congrats!! My “go to” when I find myself strapped for time/on the road is either a Naked juice, Bistro salad from Publix or a Starbucks Bento Box (like the protein box w/o the bread… or the fruit and nut box).
