Our "pre-engagement shoot" engagement shoot

In case you’re wondering, no – the excitement of
being engaged has not dwindled down at all. If anything, I am even
more excited about now that we have started planning our wedding!
P.s. If you haven’t heard, we’ve decided to get married on 12-13-14
(yes, it’s a Saturday) in my hometown of Savannah. And since we’re
planning a “destination wedding” (for most, at least), we want to
get our save-the-dates out ASAP! We weren’t sure when we were going
to squeeze in our engagement photo session, so we wanted to go
ahead and get a few really good photos together just in case. We’ve
since scheduled our official engagement session for February 15th
so hopefully we’ll have a few good pictures from that to choose
from for our save-the-dates, but now we have some beautiful beach
pictures as well! My friend Ashley was kind enough to give up some
of her afternoon last Saturday and endure the freezing cold at Jax
beach to get some wonderful pictures of us (thanks, Ashley!) and I
just had to share!
