Let the choir sing – we now have a Drybar in JacksonvillešŸ™Œ! What is Drybar, you ask? Only one of the greatest inventions ever. It is a hair salon that only offers one thing: blowouts. No cuts, colors, perms, nada. The salon is simply a row of chairs, set up in the cutest environment, might I add, and a washing station, where you will enjoy about an hour of pampering which includes a relaxing wash, a blowout (basically blow-drying your hair in the most amazing way ever), and a style of your choice. They use their fabulous Drybar products (that all smell incredible), and the experience is nothing short of fabulous. All of their product names are so much fun (some of my favorites include Southern Belle, Mr. Incredible, Triple Sec, Blonde Ale, Happy Hour … are you sensing a theme?) and work miracles on your hair. Seriously – my blowout and style lasted two FULL days. That has NEVER happened on my hair! The style options are just as cute: The Straight Up (their signature blowout with a little body), The Manhattan (sleek and straight), The Cosmo (loose curls), The Mai Tai (beachy waves), The Cosmo-Tai (a combo of the two), Southern Comfort (big, voluminous hair), The dirty Martini (tousled and textured), The Uptini (updo), and The Shirley Temple (for the little ones). So fun, right?!

A Drybar date is perfect for a special occasion or event, a celebration, a girls day, a mommy-daughter date, or just to spoil yourself. I went for their grand opening over the weekend and opted for the Cosmo-Tai, and I am not kidding when say that I woke up the next morning with my curls AND volume still completely intact. It was amazing! I’m not sure what kind of voodoo magic my stylist worked on this head full of long, thick hair, but I like it. I can’t wait to go back and try out some of the other styles – I think the Southern Comfort, Mai Tai and Straight Up are calling my name :).

P.s. The Jacksonville location is now open in Brooklyn Station on Riverside, and is sandwiched between Burrito Gallery and The Hyppo. Needless to say, if anyone ever needs a Drybar date (or taco date or gourmet Popsicle date), you can count on me any timešŸ™‹.

Wow that is really awesome! I have friends that live in other states that keep talking about these “blow out bars” and I had no idea what it really was since there isn’t one here. My sister and I might have to check this place out it looks fun!

You definitely should! I’d heard about them, too, but wasn’t sure what all the hype was about. Now I know and am completely on board! <3
