‘Tis the season to be merry, jolly and bright, and to enjoy every moment with friends, family and loved ones. It has been a year of so much joy for us, yet also so much sorrow surrounding our family. Jimmy and I welcomed Daisy, our first baby, into our lives and couldn’t be happier. It has been the most amazing year watching her grow and become such an incredible little human. But, amidst the overwhelming happiness, we also lost my stepbrother, Jimmy, to cancer in March, and my cousin lost her newborn, Truman, to a tragic fatal disease just this month. I am beyond grateful for all of the moments I’ve shared with so many wonderful people this year, and send my love to those whose year hasn’t been as happy. With that said, I am taking the rest of these last few days of the year off from my blog to enjoy this time off with my family. We had an incredible first Christmas with our little one, will be traveling to Chicago to freeze our booties off and ring in the new year, then back home to welcome 2018 and plan Daisy’s 1st birthday (insert tears here!). I appreciate everyone who has followed along with this blog and supported me this year, and I look forward to resuming with so many fun posts in the coming weeks. I hope you had a very merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah … whatever you celebrate, I hope it was fantastic … and a happy new year! MUCH LOVE!!

See you soon!
