St. Johns Town Center Influencer Dinner + Fall Fashion Show

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the St. Johns Town Center Annual Influencer Dinner here in Jax, and I am still on cloud nine from it. It was SO MUCH FUN! I’d really hoped to have this post up sooner, but seriously y’all – I have no idea where the time has gone. Thankfully it’s still Fall and just now starting to feel like it here in Florida, so perfect timing to get on trend with the latest styles to be on the lookout for this Fall and holiday season. I wanted to share a little about the event with you as well as some of my favorite looks from the fashion show, so get ready for lots of pictures! A HUGE thank you to the Town Center for having me – It was such a great night out.
Hope you enjoy!

THE EVENT
The event was an invite-only soiree hosted at by the wonderful folks of the St. Johns Town Center, and took place at Maggiano’s Little Italy. We pulled up and were greeted by valet (who magically knew each of our names as we handed over our keys), and welcomed with hors d’oeuvres and wine. The table was decorated beautifully, there was a giant and stunning ice sculpture that blew my mind, live music, and a caricature artist drawing each of us as our best cartoon self. You can see all of them here with code 091318. I could tell you more, but I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.

Caricatures by Dan from the Artist Talent Group. Loved mine!

MY LOOK
Attending a fashion event with a bunch of fashion bloggers is slightly intimidating. I consider myself more of a style blogger than a fashion blogger. I love fashion and think I’m fairly myself fashion-forward, but not exactly that edgy, wearing-it-before-everyone-else, NYC kind of trendy. So I opted for a fun yet classic black and white gingham off-the-shoulder dress with the perfect amount of ruffle and sass that I’d been dying to wear, and paired it with a skinny black belt, black heels and my gold bow Kate Spade clutch. It was the perfect dress for the event!

FOOD
Maggiano’s is one of my favorite restaurants EVER. My hubby introduced it to me when we started dating and we have gone there for our anniversary/Christmas date night every single year since. (Their holiday decor is amazing. Get ready for us on Dec. 12, M-squad. We’ll be there for our 4th anniversary!) You can see all of the menu items we got to choose from below, and y’all that truffle mac and cheese is AMAZING! I selected the Chicken Francese as my entree which I will totally order again, and the lemon cookies were the perfect final touch. Thank you so much for the delicious dinner, Maggiano’s!

VENDORS
Fashion and style was the theme of the evening! A select few retailers from the Town Center were there with a display of some of their newest items. Apple kicked off the show by sharing details on the latest technology and their philanthropic efforts. Raise your hand if you’re an Apple user. Me! Me! Omega Watches showcased some of their absolutely stunning timepieces that I am still drooling over. Pretty sure the one below was made for me. Ahem, Jimmy! Definitely a forever piece if you’re in the market – so many gorgeous designs for him and for her. Dillard’s shared some of their latest clothing collection (more to come on that in a sec), along with some of their must-have beauty products and accessories. Mamas, get excited. They have a mom + me collection coming soon!! Y’all KNOW I’m going to be all over that! Brooks Brothers also shared a selection of their newest women’s line and all I can saw is WOWZERS! I had no idea they had so much cute women’s clothing! Jimmy shops their all the time (it’s basically his closet away from home), but I’ve honestly never explored the women’s section. Just wait until you see some of the looks they brought!

FASHION SHOW
There were clothing stores and fashion bloggers … of course there was a fashion show! I am in awe over some of the looks these retailers brought. Fur, plaid, animal print, velvet, mixing patterns and textures, and wine tones are hot this season, and I love the styles Dillard’s and Brooks Brothers put together for the show. (And no, the blonde is not Blake Lively but I’m pretty certain she’s her long-lost twin!) Take a look at the gorgeous styles yourself. If someone wants to throw that burgundy coat, velvet skirt or those Spanxx leggings under my Christmas tree I wouldn’t be mad at it!

BLOGGERS
Where to even start? There are SO many incredible bloggers in the Jacksonville area and it was so much fun having 20 or so of them all in one place for one big dinner party. Each one of these women has their own unique style and I love how much their personalities shine through it. They’re seriously so beautiful and so smartm SO MUCH FUN, and it’s been wonderful getting to know all of these ladies over the past year. Countless many laughs and good times, that’s for sure. They truly do each have something different to offer and you should totally follow each of them! I’m linking all of their sites down below.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I snapped a few photos myself, but they’re nothing compared to what the pros captured. The Town Center had Becky Russo of Bec Photography at the event to document the night and catch us all in our best (and not so best!) moments. Stephanie, one of my favorite humans ever and blogger over at The Borrowed Babes, brought her own photographer, Olivia of Olivia Morgan Photography (because she’s extra like that). Photos are credited to the appropriate photographer. They’re both amazing if you’re ever looking for Jax-area photographer!

The biggest ever thank you to the St. Johns Town Center for hosting this fabulous event and for having me, to Maggiano’s for being such wonderful hosts and the delicious food, and to the retailers for sharing your evening and products with us! I look forward to next year’s event and many many shopping trips in the meantime :).

Click on over to their blogs and be sure to follow them all!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out this post. More on awesome Jax businesses and these wonderful women to come!
