I recently had such an amazing stay at the The Hilton Orlando and wanted to share all about the beautiful resort with you! If you’re looking for a great place to stay with the family or for a girls getaway, it’s the perfect location to enjoy everything Orlando has to offer, or just to enjoy a few nights in Florida at the resort pool. Want more? Keep reading!

When The Hilton Orlando offered to host me and my girl squad for a girls’ weekend, you better believe we jumped on that right away! We packed our bags (way more than we needed, but whatevs), and made the two-hour drive down from Jacksonville. I travel to Orlando a lot for work and have stayed in many hotels, but this is definitely one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! It’s perfect for work trips, but also fantastic for families, couples and groups.
The Location:
Location is everything when planning where to stay on Orlando. It’s a pretty big city with a LOT of attractions, and traffic can be quite a pain, so it’s important to stay at a place that’s convenient keeping those things in mind. The Hilton Orlando is located just off of I-4 and International Drive, making it super easy to find and get to. It’s within walking distance or a super short ride to ICON Park, the convention center, several restaurants, lots of shopping, and even the Disney and Universal parks.
Warm Welcome:
When we arrived, we were greeting by several smiling faces and staff offering to help and answer any questions. Seriously everyone was SO nice! I’m sure we looked psycho over the weekend, coming down in a different outfit every 20 minutes and shooting content, but they were so kind and just gave us the biggest smiles, and even joked with us when we made fun of ourselves for being so extra. To make it even better, they had a sweet little treat waiting for us in our room which tasted just as great as it looked! If you”ll be celebrating something special during your stay, be sure to let them know in advance so they can accommodate any special requests. Those little touches make all the difference!

The Rooms:
We had two adjoining rooms, one with a king bed and one with two double beds, to accommodate all of us while still having enough space to move around. Even with five of us in and out we had plenty of room for our luggage, clothes hanging in the closets, toiletries, and all the other crap that comes along with five fashion bloggers for two nights. And ohmygosh the BEDS!! You know how some hotel pillows start off comfy but then you wake up 20 times a night fluffing them because they get so flat? Nope, not these. They are perfect and I want them for our bed at home! The mattress was perfect, the pillows were perfect … probably the best sleep I’ve had in a while. Each room also has a sitting area and a desk, which came in handy while we were doing work on our computers or all trying to do our hair and makeup at the same time. Not to mention the beautiful view overlooking the pool!

Dining:
I love staying at a place that makes it easy to get everything you need without having to leave the property, which is exactly what The Hilton Orlando offers. Dining options include everything you could want: a quick-serve grab-and-go market with smoothies, coffees, sandwiches and more, a bar and grill serving up tasty burgers and sandwiches with pool tables and large-screen TVs, a bistro with tasty breakfast and lunch options, and the pool bar with all of the delicious cocktails and poolside bites you can imagine. Room service is also available, which is always a must for me at least one meal when I travel. I highly recommend the Blueberry Matcha smoothie from Scratch Market, Egg White Sunrise Wrap from The Bitsro, and a Frosé by the pool from Tropics – yum! (You can view all dining options and menus here.)
Pools & Amenities:
I totally judge a place to stay by their amenities, mostly the pool, and I know I’m not the only one. And y’all, theirs are TOP NOTCH! I’ll be honest, I didn’t use the spa or the gym but I did walk through and it made me wish I’d made time for both. I totally could have gone for a massage, and they even have a nail salon! So when you plan your trip, make sure you leave a little time for relaxation.
We did, however, spend LOTS of time by the pool and in the lazy river, which were my favorite times at the resort! If you’re looking for a little peace and quite time, head to the Quiet Resort Pool which is for guests 18+ and has a hot tub for soaking. If you’re staying with kids (or just want to feel like a kid again), the Main Resort Pool is the place to be! A large pool with a beach-like entry, water slide, lazy river, restaurant and bar, lounge chairs and cabanas await, along with complimentary towels and even a booth where you can purchase floats and poolside necessities. My hubby got a little jealous when he watched my Instagram stories and saw just how amazing it was, so he packed up Daisy and came down to enjoy the pool for a few hours Sunday afternoon :). She and Megan’s daughter had the BEST time swimming and playing in the splash pad!

If you want to elevate your pool experience even more, rent a cabana for the day! It includes complimentary waters, soft drinks and a fruit basket, and the personal lounge chairs in the shade or under the fan are a welcome treat when you need a break from the Florida sun. You’ll also have a server available to taker any food and drink orders, so no need to even leave your own little paradise.
When you want to chill but aren’t ready to call it a night, grab a s’mores kit and hang by the fire pit with a glass of wine and a late-night snack.

Oh, and a quick little “pro tip”: Head to the end of the hallway to find this glass balcony with a fantastic view of the city and the resort! I don’t know if all floors have this, but we were on the 12th floor and it was at the very end of the hallway by the big windows. Beautiful at sunset!
We had such a wonderful time and great experience at The Hilton Orlando, and I’m already missing that lazy river. Looking forward to going back soon with Jimmy and Daisy for our next trip to Disney World. If you have any questions about the resort let me know, and if you end up staying there I can’t wait to hear all about it! CLICK HERE to book your stay.
Thank you so much for having us, Hilton Orlando!
